Dow drops about 200 points on trade worries, extends losing streak to 8 days

Investment volatility continues as the U.S. and China impending trade conflict causes stocks to fall on Thursday.

This comes as part of an eight day losing streak removing earlier gains. Simmering tensions between the U.S. and China on trade have kept stocks under pressure this week, with the Trump administration threatening to slap tariffs on $200 billion worth in Chinese goods. China, meanwhile, said this thread violates previous negotiations and consensus reached between both countries.
